Re: Game 1 good notes?
I'll start to panic if we're 1-3 after 4.
2-2 sounds about right 3-1 was optimistic 4-0 was a pipe dream. 0-4 and I'm gonna scream regime change with most of the rest of yous guys! |

We "might" beat Miami, but I'm not holding my breath. At the 1st turn we're 1-3 if we're very very lucky. PS - I hope I'm wrong PSS - I'm not wrong |
Re: Game 1 good notes?
At least they put their uniforms on right

I disagree that he allowed a TD though. |

Re: Game 1 good notes?
I was listening to Moving the Chains on NFL Radio this afternoon and they were fairly positive about the Saints defense. Sam Bradford didn't set the all-time completion percentage record (broke Brees' record) last season because he's a chump. That offensive line that they assembled looked stout. They really liked Klein and Anzalone. They also liked Lattimore's and Marcus Willliam's performances. They said it was basically a tough match-up under the circumstances.
Missing Snead hurt, but Lewis will get some very valuable experience. Thomas is money. He is going to be our stud when they finally ride him enough. |

There were several plays that if PJ didn't just ignore Theilen, then the D line gets to Bradford. If Theilen did that to us, imagine what Gronk, Cooks etc will do |
Re: Game 1 good notes?
It's hard to believe, but this was only the 2nd full game of PJ Williams' career. We're essentially starting 2 rookies at CB and 1 at FS.

I will gladly eat a double helping of crow with a side of yard bird if we beat either of those two teams in the next couple weeks. I'll even let Danno prepare it... |
