I don't think it matters who the defense coordinator is. The common denominator appears to be Sean Payton's philosophy, whatever that may be. Maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea for Payton to sit back and play the role of motivator/cheerleader, and let Pete Carmichael have 100 percent control of the offense, and Dennis Allen 100 percent control of the defense, and let's see what happens. Obviously something is not right and hasn't been for years.
