I said it early on. Week 1 was a must win. This team has seen a lot of defeat the past several years and they have to be getting tired of it mentally. Yes I know there are new players but that losing and desperate vibe flows through the locker room. they need to feel a win. If we can win the next two AND show improvement and cohesiveness we may just still have a shot. Lose next week and it's over .
Payton has wasted the latter half of a HOF QB career. He is the one common denominator. He needs to go.

is it sad for me to be honest that I don't want SP to win if it means keeping him. unless we were going to make the playoffs i'd rather just lose so we fire him. four years and same tired product.

I NEVER want to lose a game. If I ever get to the point that I ever wish for my Saints to lose I would just as soon be hit by a truck.

What the hell?

There in lies the difference, my friend.

I watch my Saints, as I have for 50 years, for the game to game entertainment value. Win or lose I love my Saints. I also know that there is nothing I can do to change anything about present or future outcomes. I get into the games as they unfold, of course. But then I let it be until the next week or the next season as I know I have no impact whatsoever on anything to do with the success or failure of my Saints.

Can't wait until next week!

14-2, Baby!
