Re: Game Day Thread - Saints vs Panthers
Trey Hendrickson brought me a lot of hope today, even if he was ill, he still made a little noise

Winning the turnover battle today ...
Vaccaro PJ Marcus Williams ... that was a ridiculous INT. The ball was a inch away from touching the ground yet he made it look routine. That's play maker type ability. |

Nice win today! Lots of positives on both sides of the ball. I thought before the season started, if we could get to 2-2 through the first quarter season then we did a good job. Now, its so important to keep this momentum going and get a win next week in London. Who Dat!

Re: Game Day Thread - Saints vs Panthers
I agree. It looks like the team is starting to gel on both sides of the ball. We have so many new pieces and players in "new" positions, so I have a little optimism again. It's impressive that they did this on the road against a 2-0 team, regardless of the fact they didn't have their best TE, WR, and C. We were missing two starting CB's and both starting OT's so I believe it balances out.

I saw a young defense compete yesterday. Against a divisional foe, win in all phases of the game, on the road & dominate... man that give these young guys TONS of confidence moving forward. A win is a win. |

Re: Game Day Thread - Saints vs Panthers
I just liked the way the secondary knew what Cam was going to do and jumped the routes for those INTs...
Haven't seen that since Tracy Porter and a Safety who shall not be named use to jump those routes... And how 'bout Trey Hendrickson; expect him to come in more on obvious passing downs for Okafor... Bet that flight to London wasn't so bad after a win where nearly all three phases played at 80%... Can't wait till we get some healthy bodies back and was glad Crawley got out of the doghouse for whatever reason... |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...
