Draft Needs
with some scathing comments-
Saints LB- Once again, the Saints are largely set on offense and need a ton of work on defense. Since their rush defense was especially poor, look for them to draft a run-stopping linebacker. DT- Expecting Jonathan Sullivan to suddenly “get it would be like expecting owner Tom Benson to become a competent dancer. Or a competent owner. CB- Fakhir Brown played well in ’04, but the Saints could use a standout opposite Mike McKenzie. QB- Not a huge need, but isn’t it time the Saints start considering a replacement for A.B? A young challenger to groom would make and provide most Saints fans a new favorite player. http://fantasyfootball.rotoworld.com...&storyid=11758 |

I think a CB to go with McKenzie would be a luxury more than a necessity. I\'m certainly not against that.
Also, I really think that when you look at our roster, Bellamy\'s age and declining range, SS is more of a need than CB. At Corner we have a bunch of young, speedy, and serviceable guys. Otherwise, I agree. |

Pair a playmaker (ala Sammy Knight style) with Dwight Smith, MM, and Fakir, and I think you\'ll see a vastly improved secondary. I think you\'ll see turnovers. Remember when we used to get those? But keep Bellamy in there, well, things won\'t be so good. |
