this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Andrew Walter had his pro day at Arizona State yesterday. Has anyone heard how he did?...

Arizona State QB Andrew Walter appeared somewhat rusty when he worked out in front of pro scouts at a private workout in Tempe yesterday. Walter, a potential late-first round prospect at the 2005 draft had he been healthy, underwent shoulder surgery earlier this winter, after separating his shoulder in the Wildcats\' season finale last fall. Walter, though, who was unable to participate in the scouting combine in Indianapolis in February, though, was able to throw for a sustained period today. As well, Walter, who isn\'t considered to be the nimblest of athletes, ran a creditable 4.85 40 time; he also reportedly looked reasonably athletic completing the agility drills.
-------- i would be happy if they took him at #40 and thrilled if he was still around at #82. i believe he will be a passed over gem in this draft cuz of his injury similar to or even more so than deuce was. |

if all the primetime linebackers are gone at #2...I say get him..if not-get him at # 3.
he and fitzgerald are my favorites in the QB class. |

Walter reminds me of Carson Palmer. Except he had very little talent around him. Will be a huge steal for whoever lands him

if they get dont get travis henry and draft a rb all the more likely. campbell seems more like dennis green\'s type tho. but he\'s gone by 44 imo.

Good point, but I think they go RB(Williams) in the first. Walter in the second
