As I write this post early in the 4th Cam has 300+ yards passing and 3 TDs and they lead NE 29-16 in NE. Can't compare games, but our D is improving week to week.

Yeah wtf? NE shows up against us then lays an egg against Carolina.

I think Carolina is a good team that we just came out and smoked at home last week. Once they lost to us the pundits started saying Carolina mustn't be so good, but that's all an excuse. Our defense is playing good ball and our offense is much more effective.

No turnovers vs. hauling in turnovers on defense has helped a lot, especially the past two weeks.

Carolina's D is historically one of the best, but Brees generally puts up good numbers on them. The difference was we kept Cam in the pocket and hit Cam hard and often. That has been the trick if you want to beat the Panthers. Cam is trying to be a pocket QB, but it really isn't his nature. Most of his big passing games have been when he breaks the pocket and buys time for receivers to get wide open.

This league has always had a Rock, Paper, Scissors aspect to it; Week to Week Injuries, Availability, Health, Coaching, Preparation all factor...

I say if Crawley of Weeks 3 and 4 had played in Weeks 1 and 2, then it's a different record right now; question is, was the benching necessary to light a fire under Crawley?

The benching was senseless. Especially considering how well Ken developed in camp & subsequent pre season games. He's earned the right to play. Devante Harris was beat like a Pearl snare drum first two games.

These recent "issues" with benching guys (PJ, Sterling Moore) is a bit puzzling.

Week to week league. If you don't bring your A game, you will get beat (see Cowgirls, Dirty Birds and NE).

I love it.
