9-7 is a possibility. I don't see any higher. I can't be amazingly optimistic after 4 games.

Re: Are still on our way to a 7-9 season?
Still too early for predictions. Worried about the O-Line. Also, the D front 4 are not getting the consistent push and hurries I want to see.
But, historically, on the road, we have sucked. So, these back-to-back road games are encouraging. Thomas is a beast. Looking forward to seeing Snead back. Hope Anzalone and Strief are OK. |
Re: Are still on our way to a 7-9 season?
All I know is that over the last two weeks this defense has sacked the QB 6 times, two ROAD wins (1 against a divisional opponent) by more than 20 points. The dirty birds don't look like world beaters either.
We get Highland Park (Stafford) in our house on 10/15. A shut out at this level against any NFL opponent is impressive. Keep grinding. |

Well, based on the trend, they are on their way to 8-8 :p
But seriously, I don't know that one could tell either way. I'm usually a mid-season guy, not a 1/4 of the season guy, and look for games played against contenders. There are some tough games ahead. The Lions can put up points. The Packers can put up points. The Bills are playing well on both sides of the ball. The Rams all of the sudden think the are the GSoT redux. We'll see. For now, I am just going to enjoy the win, watch the highlights a couple times, and wait for 10/15. |
