Are we still on our way to a 7-9 season?
So we're 2-2 after four games... which is an accomplishment in itself with the brutality of our first four games scheduled by RG. If we go 3-1 in the next four, that puts us at 5-3. Are we threatening to break loose from those 7-9 doldrums we've been in?

Re: Are still on our way to a 7-9 season?
After the bye the Saints have 3 straight games against the rest of the NFC North: home against the Lions, @ Packers, home games against Da Bears and Yucs; we should be able to win at least half of those games.

I'm predicting 10-6 right now. I really like how we look. I think we have some coverage screwups early in the season, but we've corrected them. By seasons end this could be a team to be reckoned with.

No.
This young secondary is gaining confidence every week. |

I think we're also going to get a lot better when our o-line gets healthy.

Re: Are still on our way to a 7-9 season?
I think how the defense plays against Detroit and GB will be paramount. The offense should be good and Brees is playing smart with the ball. 4 games with no turnovers is a big deal.
Crawley got the start over Williams today and he looks good. No one is taking Latt's spot. With PJ, Crawley and Breaux coming back after the bye, our secondary looks good. I like what I see from the defensive line and LBs. I hope we can bring a win to NOLA after the bye. |

At no time have we been above .500, a win in the next game will break 3 years of 7-9 mediocrity. Let's go!
