We're really not all that good
At losing in England that is!
I said 2-2 and we have a shot at playoffs. We beat the Lions and I really like our chances for a wild card at least. The league as a whole is kind of bipolar this year and it seams like a lot of teams don't have much of an identity. Young guys are getting better and we have a week of rest. Defense needs to grow a bit but it looks like we are starting to get the opportunities handed to us by opposing offenses as opposed to the past when we would drop easy interceptions constantly. Love Crawley even more. He should have been in day 1. Granted, I have been doing catastrophe work in Texas and have yet to listen or watch a game all the way through. Have to switch between radio and TV a lot and miss some plays here and there but that's my take. Looks like we are using our running game the right way too especially if you count quick pick backs and short throws in the backfield to Ingram and Kamara. |

Re: We're really not all that good
First time with a 2-2 start so this is uncharted territory.
Recap: We've lost to 2 good (but not great teams) and we've beaten 1 good (but not great) team and one weak team. Give the guys credit though - they could have folded tent after 0-2 but now they enter the bye week with a little swagger... |

It's kind of like that thing like where you're hiking with your buddy in a forest with lots of bears. You don't have to be fast, just faster than your buddy....

Re: We're really not all that good
I'd say right now we're about NFL average, but with lots of ceiling since we're so young on defense.
Our offense will start clicking (because they always do), and our defense will likely improve each and every game. 9-7 looks like the floor, 11-5 looks like the ceiling. |

Re: We're really not all that good
Crawley deserves to start.
The 3 safety lineup is money. Kamara is the real deal. Thomas is the real deal. Ram deserves mad props. Fleener makes another big, chain moving catch. I love a win! |

Re: We're really not all that good
You can only beat who is infront of you, 2 wins in a row I'll definitely take. The fact that the D didnt get carved up by Cam Newton or Jay Cutler (who have killed us in the past) is always great in my eyes.
