You come in here and start chirping at the coach for the first game, he's lucky they didn't just leave him in the parking lot

I agree with you here, but the view from AP is obviously different.
In training camp and preseason we heard about 1 and 1A on the depth chart, and our D raved about how good he looked. Can't really blame the guy for thinking he'd get the ball more

No i agree, i know his expectations were a little on the high side. Gonna roll in and show the world that AD is still there.

I've just always been in the school of humble yourself and then you'll be exulted.

Just not the right fit from the beginning. Maybe they weren't clear with him during signing?

I don't think AP had many options. No one else in the league wanted to offer him money to play. I think he owes Sean Payton and the Saints some gratitude for putting him back on the field and getting him at least to another team to play. Nobody wanted to give him a chance and the Vikings were wanting to cut his money.

Peterson, 32, said he enjoyed his "wonderful experience" in the city of New Orleans. He heaped praise on the people of New Orleans, Metairie and Kenner, Louisiana, and said the Saints' fan base was "great" and the organization "from the top to the bottom was awesome."
