The Cooks trade i think we broke even. Barely. Cooks is money for them right now and Ramczyk for us plus we got a spare tire DE. I agree though, really don't want to trade with them. Probably the best thing we got from them was their overflow WR but that was by default since they thought they were stacked at WR and that was not even a trade. He also has not seen the field so really no value right now.

That one is gonna really sting down the stretch for the Pats but I'm still not counting them out. BB is a Yoda.

I like the trade as well but NE tried to screw us cause they thought the interest in Malcolm will give them back that 1st rd pick. I am just happy that deal failed.

Patriots weren't trying to screw anyone, they were just doing like anyone with a Top 10 CB, a premium position in the NFL, would do, and that was ask for maximum compensation in return...

The only team that doesn't seem to get maximum compensation in this league is Loomis, though the Graham-Unger trade was looking good during Anthony's rookie season...

It still looks good. The Saints had no significant drop in offensive production with the loss of Graham but got a probowl caliber center. Now just two years later the Seahawks are looking to trade away Graham but the Saints are still thrilled with Unger.

What make you think he is a top 10 corner? Is it cause the game saving pick in the super bowl? If you really watch the game, he was the one who put their game in jeopardy in the 1st place. If you go by the numbers and NFL top 10 he wasn't even mention for the season of 2016. His own team don't value him as a top 10. Why I say that you might ask, the Patriots decided to pay high dollar for a corner from another team and place him on franchise tag to only try trade him. If you need a link to the top 10 for 2016 and look at the numbers here :

Yeah, I think his price tag was a little steep too. And the fact that he's still wearing a Pat's uniform says the Saints front office did as well. Although I've gotta say that he looked pretty good against the clowns the other night.
