I Love media scouts

Bottom Line
More of a second-effort sack man than a quick-win specialist, but he did show some edge rushing ability at the Shrine Game practices that didn't flash as often on tape. His lack of length on the edge will be a turnoff for some, but he flashes enough to warrant a third-day draft selection as a backup 4-3 defensive end who could continue to develop as a rusher with additional work.
Trey Hendrickson Draft Profile

I saw a ball player. I think this guy never watched Trey or he is one of those media scouts that over values flashy play vs simple solid play at a position. When I read "lack of length " I almost always reply sure he is not a knuckle dragger but can he play. Like DB it is always can he tackle?

Glamore stats are over rated at any level by these media scouts. Hype can kills

Cam was a bit too slow and bit to small and fell into our lap way back when we drafted him. A lot of yeah he is a great ball player BUT this, BUT that, and then there is this.... I guess we know who was the Butt in the end.

JJ Watts scouting report wasn't all that good either. Not saying that Hendrickson will be that good, just that those reports often don't tell the whole story.

I loved what I saw from Hendrickson. He looks great. He was pushing people around and gettin after it. So was Okafor. Lattimore is a lock down corner, Crawley can pick the ball off period. Vaccarro, Bush, Wiliams, Bell been playing well. The D is for real. Stafford woukd've lit us up last year.

Now that Hendrickson is evolving and Okafor is giving solid play, Cam has the complement he needs and when teams make the mistake of blocking him one-on-one, Cam must make them pay with devastating plays...

Cam Jordan is probably the most underrated player in the NFL. If he played on a good defense during the first 6 years of his career, he'd be a household name.

I loved this article about his game against the Lions.

I know the pass bat + INT in the end zone was probably one of the most important plays of the game, but my favorite Cam play was when he bull rushed the OT and shoved the Offensive lineman into Stafford, awesome

Yup. Use the over-matched lineman to sack his own QB. That was sweet!

Interesting how Cam Jordan's surge this season corresponds with the arrivals of Trey Hendrickson and Alex Okafor...

Can you imagine if Rankins starts playing to his expected level?

That recent Underhill article pointed out that Rankins has been shifting three technique to nose and taking on multiple blockers on occasions. While this will reduce his individual numbers it is giving the exterior line more opportunities. We are seeing the impact of Coach Neilsen.
