Another Encouraging Stat, SoS
At this point, I'm not completely sold on this team yet, simply because the sample size isn't big enough to judge just how good this team is. But one thing is for sure, the Saints haven't just been beating bad teams.
So far in this short season, the Saints have played the toughest strength of schedule of any team in the league and by a good margin. The Saints opponents have a winning percentage of .621. The next closest is KC with a SoS at .600. The Saints are also tied with KC for the best SoV, strength of victory at .588 None of the teams the Saints have played so far have a losing record. Three of the 5 Saints opponents currently lead their divisions. And 4 of the 5 teams would be in the playoffs, if they were held today. Again, 5 games isn't a lot to go on but it's better to look good in a snap-shot like this, than as bad as they have in the last few seasons. |

The SoS and SoV are interesting... need to see how the next 2 games go. The next 2 games we should win without much trouble, but if we come out and flop against lesser teams like we have in the past it'll be very telling. |

Green Bay Players will be playing TOUGH. No Rogers - so every player will take it upon themselves to win. I'd almost rather have him playing.

Notice how low they grade A.J. Klein. From what I've seen over the last few weeks, he's been solid. Not sure I'm fully understanding how PFF are grading out linebackers. Odd. |

Re: Another Encouraging Stat, SoS
I don't really care how each player is being graded out. As long as they keep playing like they are as a whole, grade them however you see fit...
