![]() I admit it I was all about firing Coach Payton after Game 2. I was sure it was rebuild 2.0 time. Huh. This is surprising. For all the seasons that I have watched the Saints, if they stunk at season opening, mid-season generally didn't do anything to alleviate the stench.

We have been rebuilding already for the past two seasons. Brees, Strief, Jordan and Vaccaro are all that are left. We have one of the youngest rosters in the league. They'll continue to get better week by week as they gain experience.
