Point I'm illustrating is better vetting practices and an earlier effort we would have had better options in Free Agency and the Draft to get more talented help... With regards to Zimmer, he definitely flashed, but he was not getting the reps he needed to improved his game to a level where he could be that DT3-A option... And I didn't mentioned earlier, but Mitchell Loewen was surging playing out of his mind, until he got hurt; so there was that as well... There were guys outplaying McDaniel on the roster already... |
