On To Buffalo
I say short passes, tons of running, and a real focus on no turnovers.
|
Re: On To Buffalo
Let's get 6 turnovers and score early and often!

Low scoring game

Re: On To Buffalo
We're averaging 12 points per game defensively during our 6 game winning streak. If we give up more than 17 I'm disappointed :bng:

Re: On To Buffalo
Sean McDermmott knows Sean P offenses very well so ...
Saints must make Tyrod uncomfortable out of the pocket. Stop the run/limit McKoy big run plays. No turnovers. I hope to see a heavy dose of MI & Kamara in this one. Balance on offense will win you games. Critics/analyst & some fans are still asleep on the Saints 2017 defense. It's time to wake em up & play like crazed dogs on Sunday. |
Re: On To Buffalo
Yep. Run it early and often. Setup the play action and get that killshot to Ginn in the second half.
|
Re: On To Buffalo
Bills are undefeated at home. We are 3-1 on the road, and we drove into the red zone 5 times in the one loss. We have faced defenses as stout as theirs this season and moved the ball. Pressure the QB and it's a wrap.
|
Re: On To Buffalo
I haven't watched a single second of a Bills game this season since they don't get much national exposure so I'm excited to see them. As far as I can tell this will be a tough one.

Re: On To Buffalo
It’s going to be great test to see how disciplined our front seven are.

Re: On To Buffalo
Bills are a slow methodical grinder of a team. 2-3 D stops and they will be out of it. Like blow out out of it. Tyrod is a good QB though. He does not make many mistakes and will take off if nothing is there. I think we have enough body of work to stop the QB runs and shutdown the short ball game but it will be a very slow 2-3 quarters from what I have seen of them.

Re: On To Buffalo
We'll work Ginn and "can't guard Mike". BLOWOUT

Re: On To Buffalo
The high will be 44 degrees in Buffalo on Sunday with a 20% chance of rain.
Hoping we prove we can play in the cold -- maybe in the snow. I expect this to be our toughest game since our streak started. |

The Bills are ranked top 10 in 3rd down defense, #2 in pass deflections & #2 in interceptions. Again, make Tyrod uncomfortable outside the pocket & limit big plays by McKoy. Our defense will need to play big on the road. True test on Sunday. |
Re: On To Buffalo
We need to be challenged; we've caught teams at the right time starting week 3. On the road, outdoors, weather a factor, playing a very good team that is mentally and physically healthy.
BRING IT!!!!! |
Re: On To Buffalo
29. Buffalo Bills: Ralph Wilson Stadium, Orchard Park, N.Y.
"The only field using the A-Turf Titan infill artificial system hasn’t gotten a good rap around the league. It is tough to tell if the cold weather in Buffalo has put a difficult spin on the Ralph Wilson Stadium turf or if this style of artificial turf just doesn’t have the same comfort level as the rest of the league." For some reason their turf is rated as one of the worse. Likely good for us though since turf tends to cater to speed and less slips in wet conditions so advantage to us. The temp, it's not cold for football, maybe brisk but certainly should not be an issue. Chance of rain low and almost no wind. I don't see the conditions having any effect on the game other than advantage to our speed. Covering Ginn will be tough and Kamara in the open. |
Re: On To Buffalo
While I'm not trying to dismiss the teams we've beaten recently, I do think Buffalo is a cut above most of them. I think we are better than them, but we're going to have to play our A game to win. We can't be sloppy like we've been in a few of our games and still won.

Re: On To Buffalo
Looking forward to the game. Driving down for it. Should be cool, bit that's what tailgating and alcohol is for.

Re: On To Buffalo
It all comes down to playing sound football. If we do that and they don't get lucky we should win.

Re: On To Buffalo
Three reasons why this will be the toughest test for the Saints since the streak began...
First, the 2017 Bills have not lost at home this season and the Saints will be playing before a raucous crowd that's enjoying that recent success... Second, the Saints, a dome team, is forecast to play in inclement weather in Buffalo could neutrailize the speed, quickness of its talented backfield... Three, Bills Head Coach Sean McDermott, a former Panthers Defensive Coordinator, will have ten days to prepare for the his familiar foe... No matter, it's another excellent test to see if this Saints is progressing into a legit contender... |
Re: On To Buffalo
Buffalo Bills Wednesday injury report
We’ve got some good news and some bad news for Buffalo Bills fans today. Starting Tackle Cordy Glenn did not practice on Wednesday. Glenn missed a shortened Monday practice, as well, due to lingering foot/ankle soreness. "He’s got some soreness in there and we’re just trying to take it one day at a time," said head coach Sean McDermott. Following a knee injury sustained against the New York Jets last Thursday night, starting WR Zay Zones also did not practice. Like Glenn, Jones was also held out of practice on Monday. Coming to the good news part of the day, the possible loss of Jones this week could be mitigated by the return of Charles Clay. Clay, the Bills most established tight end, was able to participate in his first practice today since injuring his knee in Week 5. Although not a full participant, this is encouraging news. As of right now, Clay is expected to return to the lineup this week. Kelvin Benjamin also set to make his debut for the Bills, there’s a lot to look forward to this weekend. E.J. Gaines also made his way back to practice today after hurting his hamstring against the Oakland Raiders. The Bills secondary has felt the loss of their starting CB. With the New Orleans Saints coming to town in just a few days, a return this week would be fortunate to say the least. https://www.buffalorumblings.com/201...clay-practices |

Re: On To Buffalo
Obviously, all games are important especially from here on out. I think we are better team than either the Bills or the Jets. I do feel we will need to show up in a big way. They provide a running attack and those teams with a strong runner and a running QB have given us issues in the past. The Bills can play well, they are inconsistent. The D will show up but their running will still be a concern. The O needs a great game.
