Saints announce Delvin Breaux will not play this season

It probably was. It was like c4, c5, c6.... I'm not doctor. All I know is spinal injury is difficult to overcome.

It was definitely the neck. I work with the doctor who did his surgery. He saved his life. Statistically, he was probably supposed to die.

That's why I think the dude is a hero. He has more determination in his pinky finger than I'd ever have. Not only that, he came back and he's good.

Glad to see he's on IR. I think the Saints will watch his progress and see if he can return for 2018.

Isn't he a restricted FA? If so, I believe he will be tendered a 1st rd but probably traded for a 2nd & 5th
