Tight ends Coby Fleener, Josh Hill play key roles in Saints comeback

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I don't hate Fleener. He's a slightly above average pass catching TE that has been given way too much money for his production. Over the years of watching the Saints, I know that Brees loves to throw to his TEs... ...

Over the years of watching the Saints, I know that Brees loves to throw to his TEs... and I just don't think that Fleener is up to the Saints' standards at TE as the position is a very, very important one for how Payton and Brees like to run the offense.

We haven't been using our TEs anywhere near how we used to in the JG era. I just think it is a different offensive game plan, now that we have a run game and a D.

Don't think people hate Fleener, but it's kinda the same deal with drafting Mark Ingram...

There was so, so much invest and so little return...Ingram has finally developed into a complete Pro-Set RB...

Fleener is finally getting to the point where you can start to take chances on him in must-have drives...

If Fleener can continue what he did against Washington, then he'll become a quick fan favorite...

Well, Graham was a special player, too, at that time; he's actually starting to have a bit of a renaissance with Seattle...

Wasn't that throw to the TE a bunch part of the game plan called the seven and nine?
