Ouch! Both Lattimore and Crawley didn't practice.

I’m not expecting Lattimore to play this week. It doesn’t sound like Crawley’s situation is anything serious though.

Lattimore needs to heal up for a much improved Carolina offense.

Looks like Payton and Allen are going to roll the dice and let Lattimore heal up for the push to the playoffs; he will be desperately needed in the postseason against Vikings and or Eagles.

Especially with us having to play in one or both of their stadiums in the playoffs. That Vikings loss was a big one. Harris and Moore playing CB. Mauti and Kikhaha in the front 7. Going to be tough on the D this week.

Err... you have to make the playoffs first and benching Lattimore for a small ankle injury will never happen unless he cannot play.

If he keeps playing the ankle could get worse and keep him out of the playoffs.

Remember the playoff game against the Eagles when Keenan Lewis got injured?

If Lattimore isn't on the field the Saints are vulnerable!

Awful timing, the falcons and panthers could end up over taking us if we start losing games.

Re: Injury report shows why Saints made multiple CB moves this week

You have to let Lattimore heal. The good news is, PJ is not a chump. But, a win this week would all but lock up a wild card spot having wins over the Lions and Rams.

Re: Injury report shows why Saints made multiple CB moves this week

This is a must win game if we are to entertain the idea of a #1 searing in the playoffs. timing suxs.

BUT all hands on deck for the panthers and falcons games is crucial.

This team has demonstrated that nothing is impossible. That experience will support them when other teams would buckle.

Rams are beat up as well. They could be down 3 CB's worse case scenario or certainly not healthy.

Run the ball and keep the Rams off the field. :-)

Ken Crawley and PJ Williams should be able to handle Sammy Watkins and Josh Reynolds on the outside. Vaccaro should erase Cooper Kupp in the slot.

Re: Injury report shows why Saints made multiple CB moves this week

Wouldn’t say this is a must win game... the division games are must wins.

Right now I don’t see us getting the number 1 seed, the eagles have an easy schedule the rest of the season. We can take the number 2 seed at 12-4. As long as the losses don’t come to division opponents we’ll be fine.

Whilst we all want Lattimore rested, Carolina are one game behind us and Atlanta are now 2 games behind us.

If we lose just two games, both teams could overtake us.

I had a severe sprain coming down for a rebound that the radiologist later told me was a "green-stem fracture" (likened to a really vibrant tree branch that doesn't break through). I finished the game, but I was done for the rest of that tournament, season...

I asked why I was able to keep playing, but was basically immobile after that, and the orthopedist explained that once at rest that blood and other fluids were able to leak out of the damaged tissues, limiting the joint further...

We really don't know as they're not going to post his MRI and say this is what we have; but, if he's in a boot to limit further damage, I'd say four to six weeks for a normal human being...

F**king Washington...Expensive Victory...

If the Rams want to get into a scoring war, we are great at that as 10+ the years have proven. Plus, we have a running game that will take over the game in the 4th quarter. Turnovers will decide the game and the Rams have almost 0% home field advantage.

Klein was in a boot and he only missed one game.

That's why I said we really don't know as they're not going to share his MRI...

And we'll know with Klein once he takes the field...

Wouldn't be surprised if Payton, Master of Deception, is playing possum either...

It's just that with Lattimore's skills, for him to be able to provide the blanket coverage on receivers we've come accustomed, he'll need full, unencumbered, pain-free range of motion on that ankle...

Common games

Washington-Eagles 2-1
rams-I think eagles win this, but if we do, eagles 3-2
bears-I think eagles win this, as we already have. Eagles 4-3
Carolina-we will have to sweep Carolina to force 5-5 tie

If we can win the next two games, then 13-3 should give us the top seed in a tie-breaker assuming Minnesota does not go 13-3. Minnesota has the better SOV.

The game is in LA. Does not matter what their defense does, if their offense goes off, the offense has to keep up.

If we beat the jets and go 12-4, we actually will have the tie-breaker over Carolina if they beat us still. Carolina should not winning out and most likely the loss is one of the NFC North home games. Atlanta would make since but they'll be eliminated then.

If worst case scenario happens and Carolina is 11-3, I would rather lose the last two games because I would rather go to Carolina or Minnesota in wild card round than Seattle or LA.

LMAO
Atlanta after this week

Minnesota
Us
@TB
@Us
Carolina

If they lose to Minnesota, they won't be a threat at all. If we beat the jets they won't have more common wins, but Atlanta does not do even numbers in the division and they surely have two more losses coming at least. I don't think we go worse than 4-2 in division, and I'm picking 5-1.

I think the 2 seed is better honestly if Rodgers comes back. I am not afraid of a inexperienced vikings team in January.

Or maybe the Panthers, Tampa, and then Atlanta twice. We haven’t won squat yet. We have heart but have beat up on a couple teams either with their franchises QB beat to hell or not playing at all.
The REAL season hasn’t even started yet.
