There's no logic in thinking that a team with an 8 game win streak is suddenly going to lose more than half of their remaining games. Of course it happens (take a look at KC this year), but predicting it is really non sensical. All one has to do is observe the fact that each of the three teams the Saints as lost to currently have records of 9-2 and 8-3. It's not like the team took a dump against the Browns or the Niners, or that we've only won against teams like that. Currently three teams the Saints beat during the streak are above 500 and two more are within a game of 500. So why does losing to a team, on the road, by less than 6 points, with the same 8-3 record we have, suddenly means that the wheels are falling off to the point that folks are predicting we're going to go 2-3 or worse in December? Especially when half of those games are at home? Like I said such Eeore-ism drives me nuts. SFIAH |
Super Bowl Championships: New Orleans Saints:1, Carolina:0, Atlanta Chokers: STILL ZERO
Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good. |
