I honestly wasn't expecting him to be back. And if he did make it back he had already lost his starting spot to Ramczyk who is proving himself to be a stud. I also feel that factored into the decision of going ahead with the surgery.

It was rumored that he tore his ACL and was retiring but seeing it become a reality stinks. What a phenomenal player. Seeing him shut down Von Miller, Khalil Mack and Justin Houston last season was incredible.

He will get a spot in the Saints Hall of Fame and one day even the Ring of Honor.
