Let’s play a round of “How many flags didn’t get callled on the Falcons”

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; The more I think about it, I believe the league want the falcon to be in the playoffs. Get more revenue to pay for that stadium....

Sometimes after games fans tend to whine about the refs because their team lost. This isn't one of those cases. I don't understand what I just saw. We still should have won that game and we should take a lot of the blame for the loss... but man, that game was bizarre. I really felt like they were going out of their way to **** us over. I wonder if there was some scheme in place to keep the division close so keep revenues up or something cause I can't really explain what the refs were doing.

Darksoul you're dead on my brother. I shut it off after the first pass interference call against Lattimore. You cannot tell me that many penalties were called on one team and that penalty for trying to call a time out was just idiotic by that official and the NFL needs to fire that punk!

Saints were without Kamara, Hendrickson and Klein, had the officials working against them and were playing in Atlanta. We know we're better then them, PERIOD and they know they were supposed to lose that game, PERIOD! We will kill them when they come to New Orleans.

Bree's should've never forced that ball. If he falls down we probably win in OT anyway. Bree's has broken our heart with that kinda pass a few times but I'll take that with that Superbowl win any day. WHO DAT!

This is a glaring concern to me. Tremendous was injuries.

I never watch Thursday night football much less the 3 hour or so pregame. So I do not know if it is normal for the home team to get 75% of the coverage.

Then during the game the announcers seemed to be homers.

By half the absurd number of ticy tac fouls called against us had me concerned. Then it continued into the second half.

I saw the falcons committing the same type of ticy tac fouls all game long.

Just makes me wonder if the the NFL had the deck stacked against us to get the falcons back into the division title race, A rating move for the NFL involving one of the best divisions in football?

Nope I do not put anything past Roger.

I am usually accepting of a badly called game as long as it effects both sides some what evenly.

But we had a chance to win this game despite everything.

DA and SP did a hell of job. Drew made one huge mistake in the end.

Anyways injuries are my number one concern right now.

We should have still won. That shouldn't let the officials off the hook. They were awful in this game.

Re: Let’s play a round of “How many flags didn’t get callled on the Falcons”

Absolutely no excuses. We should've won. I'm proud of the guys who stepped up after injuries. It's clear we still need some improvement in pass rush, but we are way ahead of the last few years.

But man! I knew it in my gut when the first flag was thrown, they were going to call against the Saints the whole game. After they took the FG away, I knew it would be a 3 point game. It was clearly one sided.

To top it off, I live here with the worst sportsmanship fans I've ever known. I've already heard how Sean Payton is a piece of **** and he was trying to attack the ref how he used to pay his players to do. They are claiming he was taunting Freeman the whole game. There were lots of insults regarding the trashy and scummy people who should've died during Katrina. And that the Saints players are a bunch of babies. These same people have been SILENT all season long. Thank God it might snow today and the city will shut down.
