Not mad, not feeling down like I usually do following a loss but pissed. I was curious as to what would happen if the running game got taken away. Would we adjust or try to keep forcing the run. I wondered if Brees could still get it done. Well, with limited weapons and a winded defense he still showed he can do it with even less talent in the receiving corps.
The non calls by the refs is what’s gotten under my skin. I’m not even that upset of all the ticky tack calls on us but the holding and hands to the face were obvious.
Going for the TD in triple coverage wasn’t very smart but the defense was to winded to go to overtime. Payton was playing to win, it was just a bad decision by Brees. It happens.
My wife and I will be in the dome and we aren’t leaving with voices.
Really think they should have gotten Snead involved more.
