Here we have 2 totally contrasting games in regards to how the Saints performed. One was a struggle, and the other was a dominating display. The point is, we won both games. Yet some people want to complain because we don't play a Bills-type game every Sunday. Personally, I think the Redskins games and even this past Jets game builds character and toughness. And the Failclowns loss will do that too. We need these struggle games to learn and build upon for the playoffs. They need to know that they can overcome if they need to, and you can only develop that type of attitude from experience.

During our SB winning year, I look back to the Redskins and Dolphins games as the character-building games that helped us overcome a strong Vikings team in the NFCCG as well as the halftime deficit and a strong Colts team to win the SB.

These struggle games will help us in the long run. I actually enjoy watching replays of those games rather than the blowouts.

There is no way that the Jets should have been that close, the Saints have historically always played down to lesser teams. Occasionally they will punch a 'better' team in the mouth, for instance the Saints-Patriot game in '09.

The Saints didn't play down to the Jets. Coleman fumbled twice. Everyone else was playing good to excellent.
