I\'d really like a trade involving Simon. That woud help both teams. Hugh Douglas is getting long in the tooth, and they could have a nice rotation at DE.A fresh Kersey is no joke.
We would benefit by a stout young DT helping the run D. Then, we could concentrate on LB and SS n the draft. Simon sounds better than Woodson or Buchanon coming over |

Wow, Howard for Simon, interesting. Very. The only thing that concerns me is Philly has not been able to work a long term deal for Simon, thus the talk he may not be there much longer. I wonder what his demands are. And who his agents are.
P.S. Can we throw Sully in too and they throw in a cheesesteak? Seems fair. [Edited on 18/4/2005 by saintswhodi] |

Howard for Simon sounds great. As far as a long term deal goes, it doesnt really make him bad, we cant sign Howard to a long term deal, but he is being professional about it. Is Simon threating to hold out?
I wouldnt be too upset if we threw in a 4th rd or later to get it done. Also Howard for the 31 or 35 is better than any other offer I\'ve heard. I would miss Howard but we need to get the most out of this deal that we can. |

Howard and 16 for 31, 35 and a 2006 first rounder.....WOW. The Simon for Howard deal sounds more feasible. I could live with that. |

I just thought that maybe Simon was holding out. Howard is in no way a bad guy, I would love to be able to keep him, but this is a business. Just as long as we get good value for him.
I\'d be happy with a high 2nd rd. I would probably prefer a first rd next year though. But i beleive that Haz and comp. want something more immediate. |
