Clearest Path to the #2 Seed?

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Saints win out, finish season 3-0, 12-4 overall -- No reason we can't win these next three and possibly even wrap up the division in Week 16 with a Carolina L against GB this Sunday Rams go no better than ...

Rams go no better than 2-1 in final 3 (with trips to SEA & TEN remaining this is very feasible)

Vikings finish 1-2 (best chances for 2 losses are @ GB & vs Bears) *This is the toughest part of the equation obviously*

Philly's finish is pretty much irrelevant, too far behind them, they'd have to finish 0-3 for us to get the #1 seed

Agreed. I just don't see this scenario happening as it relates to the Vikings.

Without Wentz it's over with for Philly. The drop off at QB is too steep.

Re: Clearest Path to the #2 Seed?

The clearest path to the #2 seed is gone. That path was win last week's game.

Stop worrying about it. This week, and the week after, and every week after that is exactly the same as last week. That is take care of your own business and don't worry about anything or anybody else that you cannot control.

Whatever is going to happen to Philly, Minnesota, LA, and Seattle is going to happen regardless of what the Saints do at this point. So as far as the Saints are concerned, the clearest path is:

SFIAH

Super Bowl Championships: New Orleans Saints:1, Carolina:0, Atlanta Chokers: STILL ZERO

Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good.

Their loss though happened early in the season. A loss like this late in the season, the probability of it working out is next to 0. Wentz was making crazy throws downfield on busted plays and running around. Not going to happen with Foles.
