Re: What we learned from the Saints win against the Jets
Jets played the run and screen game.
They dared Drew and company to beat them through the air. It took almost 2 full quarters till the saints stopped forcing their game plan That has to change. |

Not having Ginn to stretch the field was obvious today. We really need a speedy WR who can take the top off and keep defenses honest.

Re: What we learned from the Saints win against the Jets
This "3 and out" offense needs to get it's heads in gear.
It's like we show up for a quarter, don't score for the second and third quarter, and then come alive in the 4th. It keeps happening week after week, it's making games too close. The defense has done a great job considering the awful spots the offense put them in consistently. The pick Brees threw was just excruciating. We need better Receivers other than Michael Thomas. Brandon Coleman is just a lanky version of Josh Hill, someone Payton shows absolute loyalty to for no apparent reason. |
