What we learned from the Saints win against the Jets

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Can’t convert on 3rd down Lattimore will be all pro for years. Great pick. It’s fun to have a CB who’s name you hear a lot because he’s doing good things rather than bad. Special teams SUCK. Way to many ...

Can’t convert on 3rd down
Lattimore will be all pro for years. Great pick. It’s fun to have a CB who’s name you hear a lot because he’s doing good things rather than bad.

Special teams SUCK.
Way to many penalties.

We still haven’t played our best football. Atlanta is going to get CRUSHED.

Jets WERE a good team that just didn’t. Have the ball bounce their way. They lost their top defensive lineman and QB We just almost lost to a very bad team. We would have lost that game if it weren’t for injuries.

Yes, if Warford and Peat were healthy we would have had a much better run game, I agree. Would have been more lopsided W.

thought coleman made the most of his chances today

Apparently him and Hill spend too much time together.

Idk why all our receivers decided to take a step back this year. Thomas is the only sure thing we got.
Pass to Thomas
Pass to Kamara
Pass to Ingram

That’s all we got.

Jets played the run and screen game.

They dared Drew and company to beat them through the air.

It took almost 2 full quarters till the saints stopped forcing their game plan

That has to change.

Not having Ginn to stretch the field was obvious today. We really need a speedy WR who can take the top off and keep defenses honest.

.

This
Thomas was clutch
Jets keyed in on screens

Defensive outside containment was terrible

Brees getting closer to taking the lead in the all time NFL passing leaders.

He's just a hair under 70000 yards now. He may/will likely pass Brett Farve and Manning in the playoffs this year.
