We are in the driver's seat for the division.

Although not a thing of beauty, we'll take this win.

Jets were a good team, most of their losses were by less than a TD.

It went about as I expected.

Some good, some bad, but a win nonetheless.

The Saints didn't receive much help from the rest of the NFC
The Saints needed the Panthers, Vikings or Eagles to lose as they vie for a high playoff seed in the NFC. All of their main rivals won. The Saints started the day at the No. 4 seed in the NFC and ended it in the same spot. Philadelphia and Minnesota look like locks for the Nos. 1 and 2 playoff seeds with two games to play.

We don't need any help whatsoever. All we need is to win!

I've learned over 40 years that if you need or want a team to lose in the final weeks, it never happens.

I fully expect the Falcons to win tomorrow night. Such is life as a Saints fan.

I'm 100% sure we'll need to beat the Bucs in week 17 just to make the playoffs.

Ain't that the truth. It has almost never worked out for the Saints on relying on other teams. Pretty much count on it not working out. It has never worked out that I know of to be honest.

Ingram gets a thousand yards rushing.

Mike Thomas gets a thousand yard receiving.

Re: What we learned from the Saints win against the Jets

Some posters were expecting the Jets to perform like the Browns. This is the NFL. Nothing is easy.

Side note - Cam Jordan is an elite player who continues to make plays every week.

Just wait to you see what the chargers do to that team next week. We just can't destroy below .500 teams. Jets are a good team? Don't make me laugh.
