this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I would, what would we do with another DE? That\'s the other half of why we\'re trying to get rid of Howard. If we pick a DE, I\'m going to fly down to NO and beat everybody in the FOs ...

Maybe they do, but if I know one thing, it\'s that we are sure as hell not New England. Their coaching staff probably does a little better helping those guys make that adjustment. If we tried to do that with a player we would just get a huge mess.

That\'s why I don\'t trust them to convert DJ into an LB. The FO still dosen\'t know what kind of team we are, much less where DJ should play
First, we wanted to be the Rams or Colts, now they want to be a running team. They wanted the Heavy Lunch Bunch, then they want smaller, faster D players. They tried no FB sets, then went out and got one. I suspect they had something to so with AB practically ceasing to scramble. A few years ago, we were lighting up the scoreboard. Maybe too quickly. Hand & Grady barely had time to warm up some Hot Pockets, before they were on the field again. Our roadblocks became speed bumps by the 4th. How did the WCO work out? We could\'nt score in the first half with the same players who were torching any D. I tried to keep my rant brief, but I\'m tired of this regime. |

] now worries-that just threw me a little...I don\'t trust any thing that requires our coaching staff to motivate or train players. |

Adrean McPhearson..... A fire under Aarons #ss? Does anyone think he could play at this level? Would we be willing to gamble a third round pick on motivating Aaron or replacing him? Warner is living proof that there is talent in the Arena League.

I dunno about McPherson. I can\'t remember ever watching an entire arena league game (too boring), but it\'s true that Warner proved a player can make the jump (NFL Europe probably helped, too). Given the doubts about his experience and his character, I think McPherson might be a reach even in the third. Oh, and Halo, I don\'t think I get the signature ... Switzerland???
