Ignore that we lost Kamara and Ingram was injured. Ignore the oline injuries that had us playing with a third string guard

We ran the ball very little...

Ingram was reportedly injured during the week and was listed as questionable, Peat was out and Kamara left the game after 1 series... let's not forget Ginn was out as well.

ATL played an injured Saints offense and had the refs giving them free first downs... yet they only won because of a bad throw by Drew. This game is going to look completely different and ideally should be a blow out. No game has mattered more this season.

This is what I am scared of.......

I know you will think this is rediculous

Atlanta's division records since 2006
1-5
3-3
3-3
5-1
3-3
3-3
1-5
5-1
1-5
5-1

No 2-4, no 4-2. So imagine if we beat Atlanta this weekend, and Carolina wins, then what?

Carolina at Atlanta probably becomes the week 17 SNF, and if the saints beat the bucs. What reason does Carolina have to win at Atlanta other than trying to eliminate them from the playoffs? Does Carolina even care about that? And honestly, why would they want to go out and win a road game, knowing they are going to have to go on the road against us the week after(unless the titans win this week).

So I'm worried that if even if we do win this week, we might lose to the bucs.

Maybe there is a miracle and TB wins this week, leaving Carolina to fight for their playoff lives.

16-4 Baby!

:bng:

We were playing a lot of 2nd and 3rd string players, the refs, and the Falcons and still almost won. At their house. No excuse to not win this game.

Tampa almost beat Atlanta last week. It could happen.
I’m not convinced we can go beat Tampa if we have to. We aren’t safe. Yet.
Honestly if we don’t beat Atlanta at home we have no business in the playoffs.

Re: Good read on Falcons D Line impact last game

Kamara's averaging 6.6 yards per carry on 99 carries. That's the highest ypc for a running back in two decades. So after reading this...

The loss of Kamara on the Saints’ first drive of the game undoubtedly altered what the game plan was for New Orleans coming into the game, but it’s important to remember that Mark Ingram is still the team’s starting – and more traditional – running back. Kamara is extremely dangerous, but he’s arguably a better receiver at this point in his career.

...it was hard to take anything else he wrote seriously.
