Don't quote me but I think Ireland came on board after the Senior bowl the year we drafted Kikaha. However he wasn't working with an NFL organization and was researching pretty much on his own. 
The following draft and last years draft showed the impact that Ireland has on bringing in quality players. Edit: The new scouts also had a great influence no doubt!
