Ken Crawley - just as good?
Next Gen stats from NFL...
Just about everyone knows of the exploits of All-Star rookie cornerback Marshon Lattimore. The 11th overall pick in the draft has allowed fewer than 54 percent of the passes thrown his way to be completed and gives up a 60.2 passer rating in coverage. However, his fellow corner Ken Crawley, a second-year undrafted free agent, has been a factor in their defensive stabilization, as well. The Saints allow just 4.91 yards per play when Crawley (who missed three games) is on the field and 6.69 when he isn't. His -1.78 participation impact (yards per play differential) leads all defensive backs who have been on the field for 200-plus snaps this season. |
Re: Ken Crawley - just as good?
Those stats really don’t tell you anything. Just article fodder. Doesn’t change the fact that he is still one of the best we have had. They hit gold with him. Those two could easily become the best tandem in the NFL.
Imagine if we had a better pass rush. QBs would **** themselves. |
Re: Ken Crawley - just as good?
It’s amazing what happens when you have position coaches who teach and actually get the best out of there players....

Re: Ken Crawley - just as good?
Teams stay away from Lattimore for a reason.
But they're finding out Crawley ain't exactly chopped liver either. Pick your poison, either way you die! |
Re: Ken Crawley - just as good?
Crawley is real. Dude battles. You might beat him but he's always there fighting. Crawley might get pushed around by a big receiver or you might get a step on him if you have elite speed but don't slip up throwing on Crawley cuz u boy has excellent ball skills and will pick u butt off if u mess up. WhoDat!

Re: Ken Crawley - just as good?
Just as good as Lattimore? No, but he’s certainly developed into a very, very good player. I could not be any happier with him. I can’t wait to see just how high his ceiling can be.

Re: Ken Crawley - just as good?
I just hope they both hold up, seeing signs of Lattimore possibly wearing down a bit. I know he was going against an all world receiver last week, but to me he looks a tad bit slower compared to a few weeks back.

Crawley has been great. Still would like to have seen how Breaux would have done
