Did any starters sit or play reduced minutes?

The play by BOTH sides of the ball was not good today...

The Bucs showed up more than the Saints let down. I had rather play the Panthers. The loss will give the coaches plenty to "coach" about. I will be in the Dome. It will be rockin'. WHO DAT!

I think if anyone thought this was gonna be a gimme, then they were kidding themselves. Bucs haven’t quit recently and have been very competitive. Yeah, we didn’t play well, no doubt, but the Bucs didn’t lay down and kept fighting. Big deal, now let’s punch Scam Newtron in the teeth.....and keep attriculating down the field....

I think if we wanted, we could have won this game. Atlanta was winning so the urgency was not so much there.

i go to the growing IR list on defense.

Despite the Int's, the defense was pretty bad. Coverage in the secondary was awful. I hope it was just a bad game and not a case of the Saints running out of gas.

Tampa had 83 offensive snaps. Compare that to our 58. The defense was absolutely gassed.

We got the same path we would have had with a W. Meaningless game other than the Bucs screwing themselves out of a top 5 picks which is great for us more than the W.

Actually not true. A win would have secured the #3 seed. So we'd have Atlanta next week, and on a win would be guaranteed to go to Minnesota for the divisional round.

As it stands we get Carolina, and presuming that the Rams take care of their home game, we're off to Philly for the divisional round. And the way they've been looking the last couple of weeks without Wentz, that could be a good path to go.

Yep, I prefer that path (Philly, Minn) too.

FWIW, Fig Newton went 0-9 to start the game & at one point he was 1 of 11. Constant over throws, under throws and a laughable QBR.

I like our chances vs Carolina in the dome on Sunday.
