Re: Will Drew Brees retire?
I don't see him retiring after this year. The QB's who retire and go out "on top" after winning a Super Bowl, or after a deep playoff run, is actually a pretty tiny minority of QB's, it's really a very minuscule percentage who do that. My suspicion is that he already has something silently in mind in his head, a scenario worked out in collaboration with Brittany and Tom Condon, where he is going to reach that certain point and then he's done. But it ain't now.

If he gets into politics there is a lot of money there as well... Add the above to the fact Drew has enough money to take care of generations of his family, and I don't think money would be his deciding factor. |

Re: Will Drew Brees retire?
This year's O-line play and running game prolonged his career by at least another year.
Fewer hits, less wear and tear on his arm, and maybe even less stress knowing someone else (defense too) can shoulder some of the load- all factors |

Re: Will Drew Brees retire?
Just wait until next years draft, this team is going to be extremely fun to watch for a while.
I honestly don't know what will happen to Brees, but I finally have faith that management know what they are doing. If Brees does go, we have a defense that should only get better and a very talented young roster to surround the future QB. If Brees doesn't go, we just have to address a few areas and we'll be dominant! |

Drew isn't retiring. If I had a farm I'd bet it. |
