Every stat says we should have lost that game, but glad Brees is getting some love that we all know he deserves.

What stats are you looking at??? all stats were pretty close and reflected the game score pretty close.

The only difference really is the Saints D coming up with stops forcing Car to kick FG's instead of TD's. So their Kicker did great aside from the one miss.

That back shoulder throw to Michael Thomas on a critical 3rd down ... ridiculous pass and catch.

The biggest one that jumped out to me was the lopsided time of possession, we only had the ball for 22 minutes? But even more lost the turnover battle and penalties.

these?
Rushing 107- 41
3rd Down Conv 8/17 vs 2/8
Penalties 2 vs 7
TOP 34 vs 26

bend-don't-break defense saved the day

According to some, it's always Brees' fault.
Wish he got the excuses given to Cam and Jameis.

I gotta show Cam a little respect, even though it was still a lot of I, I, I in his post-game presser, much of it was him assuming responsibility for the loss and not hanging it on the intentional grounding call...

Sounds like an angel has starting whispering in his ear he needs to work on being better all-around...
