Re: The Saints have the best rookie class this century.
Some thoughts from EGGSPURTS at the moving up to get Kamara!
I'm an EGGSPURT, JUST ASK ME!! Here is my thought, we currently have 6 rb's that were either on the team last year, signed in the offseason or drafted. So who is the odd man out? MIA had his first 1000 yard season but he stays injured. Cadet just resigned and Lassco is only in his 2nd year. AP just signed a 2 yr deal and now we drafted a top 4 back in the draft. Could MIA be a possible trade option? Trad him aft r his best season to get the max? WTF... Dont understand for anther RB Alvin Kamara????????????????????????????? grrr a 2nd in 2018 and this is the pick? @!##$%^&*()(&^^%#&^^%&^%&^&^%&^*&^%^%&^$ HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA F*** ME!... what a joke Payton just sent next year's second round pick for a marginal third down back... Stupid, Stupid, Stupid... I usually don't complain. But this is terrible AND we traded up for him?!? This is ridiculous "We're gonna fix the defense.. And by that I mean we're gonna overload on DB's and mortgage the future for offensive guys" |

Re: The Saints have the best rookie class this century.
I did not like the Kamara pick at first until I heard what Payton said. He said he looked like Marshal Faulk in a private session. That was enough for me. At that point I knew he would be special, not this year but next so I was wrong on that one as most were. I was not even going to draft him in ff until I heard that comment. If Payton ever makes a comment like that, comparing a draftee to an all pro I'm sold from here on out.

Another draft class like this one and we'll rule the NFL.

I quickly fell into the "In SP I trust " mode. He had to really like what he saw when SP went for a scouting visit. SP does not go out of his way to scout many players. |
