Re: Was A Good Year
I agree SF. I felt for a while now that this wasn't the year for this team. Too many young players and the injuries were just too much. Get this team healthy, have another stellar draft and maybe a free agent or two and this team will be very dangerous next year.

Re: Was A Good Year
This game summed up our season perfectly. A horrible start but the team hanging in there and fighting all they way trough. It ended in heartbreak but I am very proud to be a Saints fan today.

So right Halo. This will be a team to be reckoned with. I just hope Sean is right about Hill being our future QB. I see Brees with maybe two or three years left.

Re: Was A Good Year
I'm not going to spend too much time here this offseason going along with blind optimism. You just do not give a game like that away. We had more than one thing fall into our lap. This was the year, not next year. Not with a 39 year old QB.

Re: Was A Good Year
we had the game and one of our stellar rookies screwed up.
Philli is beatable also. Weather would have been our biggest issue. So a super bowl slipped through our fingers IMO. Who would have thought it at the beginning of the season when we were 0-2? one hell of a ride. lets talk FA and the draft. |

Re: Was A Good Year
This one will sting a little but there was no quit in the Saints. Lots of injuries, guys stepped up and we still had a chance. Extremely young team, talented bunch in the secondary but a mistake cost us. What can you do?
We'll be back. It hurts though. It's been a pleasure posting ALL YEAR on this board. Who Dat |
