Look, Williams screwed up, he knows it, and he deserves some blame...

But the previous play Lattimore got lazy in technique and gave a reception, with a penalty...

PJ Williams can not seem to grasp exchanging men in coverage on crossing routes, pick plays...

And there was also an overthrown pass by Snead...

There were several underthrown balls by Brees...

Warford's mass and @ss got thrown around like a toy...

..and Loomis shares in that in not securing Kevin Zeitler, overpaying for Warford...

We had our No. 5 and 6 linebackers starting with a late season free agent...

Twenty (20) players on Injured Reserve...

Some suspect playcalling on both sides of the ball, including some gaffes in time management...

We relied very heavily on the stellar play of rookies this season and we got away with it until a rookie mistake at the worst possible moment. It was bound to cost us a game eventually this season.

Chris, I'd still go through it again rather than play retreads...

Oh don’t get me wrong, I agree 100%... We just got very lucky not having to trudge through the growing pains of essentially a rebuild all season until that one moment yesterday.

The crazy thing is we got beat by Tampa and Minnesota on two very similar pass plays down the right sideline.

Also, watching the Pit - Jacksonville game, there were muggings during pass plays with no flags. They definitely let them play football. That wasn't the case in Minn, at least on our end.

My thoughts as well. I think if the refs would have just let these guys play, Vikings wouldn't have scored as much. Gene Salvatore and his crew normally call good games but we had over 95 yards given up in penalties .

Let em play.

C'mon, Major, you're one of smartest guys, ask yourself - In What World Where Roger Goodell is the NFL Commissioner are we gonna get a fair-called game?

JP,

You gonna have to let that go bro. Zeitler developed a close bond with Hue Jackson (OC) over the years, he prefers the mid west and love playing closer to home.

Warford has been good in New Orleans.

Not to mention the offense was inept in the 1st half. Those 2 picks Brees threw didn't help matters. They couldn't covert a 3rd down in the 1st half either(which by the way came back to haunt them). There is your loss right there. Blame Marcus all you like but he never should have been in that position. There is plenty and I mean plenty of blame to go around.

Andrew Norwell is gonna be a free agent; if Carolina wants to keep him, we need to drive the market...

Can't help but think that Zeitler would have loved to play for Payton and with Brees...

Warford is horrible in space and it was masked by Kamara athleticism; and he got absolutely owned vs Minn, Car...
