this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Why was there no 10 second runoff after the false start on the last drive? We got a Penalty on the FG that was taken of the board in the regular season. Please some rule clarification for me, thanks....

Run off on false start
Why was there no 10 second runoff after the false start on the last drive? We got a Penalty on the FG that was taken of the board in the regular season.
Please some rule clarification for me, thanks. |

The clock has to be running when the penalty occurs for a 10 second run off.

Was the clock running on the FG mistake? To me those two penalties were more or less of the same Quality.
