Don't want Nelson
About to turn 32,last years numbers tumbled (though QB a factor). I think that he will fall off a cliff quickly, might not be this year but its coming

And Clayborn will be 30yo in July, wrong side of the hill to be bringing in pass rushers...

I just think having 6' 3" of 343 lbs of goodness pulling some heat off of Cam would due the pass rush more good...

Then get Taven Bryan as the 3T or DE (he can play both) on the other side and start ruining opposing passers game days...

Clayborn graded 85.5 last year. He could provide valuable rotational depth especially if we resign Okafor - who may still need a few weeks to be ready.

And there’s no guarantee we get a chance to draft any particular player.

We won a Superbowl with Colston-Henderson-Moore-Shockey; we currently have Thomas-Ginn-Snead (RFA)-Fleener...

Snead had, without a doubt, a season to forget, but two great seasons before then, so hold off on the write-off...

And if Snead connects with Kamara on the WR option pass, everyone is wanting to keep him right now...

Where we need help is Tight End where Fleener really hasn't fit in on this team and where Graham would've been ideal...

We need that TE threat for 3rd downs and redzone, but not a bad TE deal like Shockey for two draft picks or dead money on a broken-down FA TE...

JP our current receiving situation is Michael Thomas. We need a true #2 or an NFL ready TE for Drew to convert more third downs to.

I hear ya, '76, but look at our line. Tyler Davison is a good player, but he's not drawing double teams enough to allow Cam Jordan to get to the passer...

The longest Okafor stayed healthy was last season; so that, plus an achilles tendon rupture that takes a min of a year to recover, if ever?!?

Okafor is not a viable option, besides, Hendrickson will be able to step up opposite Cam...

What we need is that in your face pass rush and our NT and DT3 were not getting it done enough last year...

In 2017, last year, we were second in total offense (391.2 yds/gm), and second only to New England (394.2yds/gm)...

We have a balanced attack now on offense with a huge jump in Time of Possession...

Should we lose Kelemete, (and I'd argue he should be paid serious coin as our Utility Lineman, we're gonna need depth on the offensive line foremost...

What we need as far as receiving is a more reliable pass catching Tight End for the third downs and the red zone...

The front seven on defense, depth on the offensive line, those are the big blinking red lights...

Let me repeat...

Addressing those needs got us out of our 7-9 cycle - let's keep building on that direction, trust it as it's working...

Agreed.

We need a solid #2 ... kind of like Sanu is for Atlanta or Thielen in MN. There will be games where a good D coordinator will take away our biggest threat (Thomas). Then what? I have no confidence in the current roster of TE's.

Maybe the position is addressed @ the draft. There are a few guys (D Goedert, Hurst) out there that are capable of Day 1 impact.

Win now mode.

I’m not saying we don’t find a defense of tackle. In fact I’ve been a proponent of signing Suh. But Adrian could provide just as much value as oak did

Thanks be to Alvin Kamara!!!! But he’s no longer a secret. We WILL find another receiver opposite Thomas.
