Kirwin said they could have re-worked his contract, but that would have taken Kendrick's help and he probably didn't want to help ... thus, do it the hard way.

That's why I gotta believe Mychal Kendricks has a new zip code this season; solid player, but as KMajor pointed out, he's not a playmaker except for PDs...

But if you need to just shore up a position, he's your guy...
