Would you guys be interested in signing NaVorro Bowman? He’s a free agent and we had a deal in place to trade for him in October but it fell through...

According to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Niners agreed to ship Bowman to the New Orleans Saints for a seventh-round pick. However, the Saints learned that Bowman preferred to be a free agent and get to choose his next team, so the sides reneged on the deal.

So we know that we’re interested in him and now that we’re back to being contenders I’m sure he’d like to be here.

Not interested in a guy that shunned us before because we weren't worthy of his declining services.

Our LB corp would be in a good spot if they stopped getting injured every game.

I think that ship has sailed + Bowman had his chance. I'd prefer a younger guy with less wear and tear on his body. Just looking back we had Anthony, Laurinitus, Anzalone (jury still out), Feeney etc .. I believe that a sideline assassin is in the works for New Orleans, either in Free Agency or the draft.

A hard hitting LB that understands his assignments, has instincts & plays with aggression will be within our reach this off season.

Rankins is fine adding another quality DT would be a good move IMHO. Aaron Donald is all the proof you need to show how disruptive a penetrating DT can be

That's non sensical. $19 million a year represents a nearly 25% pay cut from his last contract. Make it 2 years, $55 million, structured as a one year with and option payment for the second year, and you may have somewhere to start negotiating.

It's not forget that the Saints are on the hook for $18 million in dead cap for Brees even if he's not on the roster.

Safety might be a need but it’s not a top five that’s for sure. Corner is huge this off season. PJ needs to go and he’s our #3 cb. Then TE, wr and defensive line. We will be losing Snead and Coleman. Fleener will be cut.
