So Brees moves on
Who do you want?
Address it in the draft? Kirk Cousins Case Kennum Nick Foles All will sign somewhere this offseason. We are in a win now position so I hate to roll the dice with a rookie. Brees will stay. He’s said as much but just what if? I like Cousins and Case looked good all season and won’t command much money. I wouldn’t mind signing Foles as a Backup to see what Payton could do with him. Maybe sit him to study for a year or so and take the reins when Brees finally goes. Brees said he wants to play to 40 he was 39 yesterday. I wonder if he plans to play past 40 or has plans. |

Re: So Brees moves on
If it does happen, I think Kirk Cousins would be superb in our offense. Brees is a once in a lifetime player, but I like that Cousins has some wheels and will run if he needs to. Whereas Brees absolutely refuses to run it seems.

Re: So Brees moves on
I would totally take Cousins. He's a great QB and a great person off the field. He had a stellar season despite have no offensive weapons. Crowder and Pryor are drop artist and his RB went down. He still did well. Give him our talent and we are good for years. I doubt Brees is leaving but the float on deep balls is there. Hitting targets deep in stride just not there anymore.

Foles would probably be willing to sit and could benifit from it. I think he would flourish under Payton. Is there anyone in the draft worth taking? We will be later in the draft and must use the pick wisely. Again. Brees is our guy and can get another ring but it’s gotta happen soon |
