METAIRIE, La. -- The New Orleans Saints didn’t wait long to roll out their unofficial slogan for the 2018 season:
“There’s nothing promised.” The Saints will almost certainly head into next season as one of the NFL’s “it” teams after a 2017 breakout that was fueled by one of the best draft classes in recent memory -- despite the devastating way their season ended in the final seconds at Minnesota on Sunday. Good. Keep that level of intensity up. Remember how we started the 09 season? On FIYA! We were wearing people out. I'd like to see us start (& Finish) a season like that again.

The Season definitely ended better than most here thought. It just seemed like
by mid-season this team was really starting to hit hard on all cylinders. |

Finishing strong isn't leading by 2 points with 10s left on the clock in a game where you goose egged the first half and your QB had a zero passer rating. But that's behind me now and I am not at all bitter lol. |
