Maybe we can get Tony Romo to announce our games.

I think he is hiarious. I’m surprised anyone notices anything with all those commercials.

Re: There is a Petition to Remove Bobby Hebert off Saints Radio
I listened to Bobby, after the game the other night and I didn't hear any F bombs being thrown as some fans have accused him of doing. I do think he does come off as a little crazy sometimes. But as the Who Dat Nation, we can all come off a little crazy every once in a while. I think the petition is ridiculous and there is no need to replace Bobby. His colorful personality is what helps separate our team coverage from the boring vanilla type coverage that other teams have. Living here in Chattanooga, I've listen to one or two Atlanta Falcons post game shows and it is just bland and boring. We should consider ourselves blessed to have people like Bobby and Deke who make being a Saints fan that much more interesting.

I like how when Bobby talks, you know where you are. Its part of the craziness that is NOLA. And lets be real, guys. We all canonized Buddy D a few years back, but the truth is, a lot of fans hated him. He was harsh. Bobby's rude to callers? Did you forget what Buddy D called fans who annoyed him on the phone? Anybody? Bueller? I thought his political comments about Trump were inappropriate, and over the top and I think he's full of sh**. But then, I remembered who we're talking about. Half of my best friends are full of sh**. And they think I"m full of sh**. Of course, he's over the top. Its great radio. For the record, I saw Bobby play in person. Those of you old enough to know who Dave Wilson is, remember screaming for them to put Bobby in instead, and also how excited we were, when the USFL folded, and he announced that he wanted to be a Saint. Bobby was actually a very underrated QB, especially when he became more seasoned, and developed more touch & pocket presence. Grab a YouTube of an old game, and listen to what national announcers, most of whom didnt know him before being assigned to a Saints game- listen to what they say about him. The Saints were always in it, when he was our QB. He also is a big fan of the team, and lives & dies with them, just like we do. I think you have something special in New Orleans, as always, dating back to Hap, and Buddy D. Hebert & Deke are, at times, unpolished, unprofessional, and thats exactly what I Like about them. They're a big part of what I like about the game day experience. Count me as a fan. |

Radio is dead. Especially call in shows. Listening to local fans drag on and on with pointless statements.... it’s brutal.
I listen to Bobby & Deke on a podcast the day after - ZERO commercials and you can fast forward. |
