this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I don't think the Saints FO will entertain Landry's demands ($$), but I really thought he would be become the more polished NFL WR coming out of LSU ... even more so than Odell (DIVA but elite). Hindsight is 20/20 ...

Hindsight is 20/20 but damn Allen Robinson and Landry were still on the board yet we chose Stanley Baptiste . Outside of Cooks, that was just an awful Saints draft, just awful. I'm so thankful now for Jeff Ireland as Scout director. |

We don’t really sign big name WR’s. In fact, Ted Ginn is the only one I can think of in the last 10 years. We like either drafting or taking unknowns and molding them into our system.

Great Point - I really believe we make a run at replacing Fleener with Graham, or the like, eliminating Tight End from our "Needs" come draft time...

Know a lot has been made of the slot, but if the Saints are truly shifting the Tight End focus to one of blocking, then I see the emphasis at Wide Receiver will be to sign another big bodied guy who can post up and win jump balls...
Knowing Payton though, I suspect Graham are some other Tight End is signed before the draft and we take a Tight End (i.e. Goedert) in the first half of the draft... |

Austin Carr is no joke. Kinda shocked he didn't make the field this season but we got him too late. Great hands and the dude can jump. I totally see him taking over the slot.
