WHAT A WASTED PICK

It wasn\'t a waste.

I\'ve calmed down now a bit, three hours after the fact.

There\'s nothing wrong with improving the line. However with the defense so poor in the middle, not filling that need with a stud hurts.

Maybe with the #40 pick, that need will finally be filled.

They filled it with their third round pick. Alfred Fincher is big enough but not huge, strong and fast enough. He\'s a stud who can stuff the run. He led UConn in tackles last year. That beats the hell out of having your SS leading in tackles. I think this guy will definitely surprise some folks.

I kinda like the Bullocks pick too. He\'s a FS, not much against the run but a good centerfielder. Who knows. Dwight Smith said he wanted to play corner. Maybe with this pick he gets his wish.

A lot of folks around here are down on the FO (what\'s new?) but so far I\'m not that disappointed in what they\'ve done. I seem to recall a lot of *****ing last year with the Will Smith pick and that worked out pretty well so far.

WHAT A WASTED PICK

[ I seem to recall a lot of *****ing last year with the Will Smith pick and that worked out pretty well so far.

I was one who *****ing bout the Will smith pick cuz we could of been the one to make that trade with Miami and still could of been the one to pick Will Smith or Kenechi Udeze and i still stand by it!!!. Now my complaints double cuz I prefer that they should of stayed put if they wanted Brown. I care less if Carolina wanted to pick him. they\'re 3 players on the board that would of been a impact (Thomas Davis, Alex Barron & Derrick Johnson) now please explain to me why make a trade to pick Brown if Alex is on board if we where so concern bout picking a OL.

second Bullock might turn out to be a find player just like the other 2nd rd picks drafted today but I don\'t think he was for us. Why draft him if we just sign FA Dwight Smith & Mitchell? Our need was at corner and lb. Corey Webster was still on the board. This remind me when they pick Stinchcomb instead of Rashean Mathis. i just wonder if this guy Loomis have something against drafting corners cuz he NEVER drafted one.

WHAT A WASTED PICK

They\'re continue to waste picks, a WR with injury problems when we need help on the defensive side of the ball. I\'ll be shock if this guy even make the final 53.

WHAT A WASTED PICK

Great great draft. It\'s amusing people try to spin it as satisfactory when EVERYONE said we needed a LB first. And with the best one on the board handed to us. Let\'s review our past 3 rd round LBs. James Allen, Sed Hodge, and Cie Grant. A virtual goldmine for us picking LB in the 3rd. And Bullocks over Webster? I would have preferred moving Webster to S than drafting that guy. And now we get an injury plagued WR(remember Stallworth coming out), when we need a backup QB also. McPherson was there. I would no have been mad had they taken Hawthorne. But this is just stupid.

WHAT A WASTED PICK

it\'s actually amusing, that with the title of this thread, you could use the same thread through the 7th round without having to post again!
