We all just need to resign ourselves that it's over and we're not the team. I think the organization being closed lipped about the whole thing may be a good sign that we're still negotiating but like I said better off putting this thread out of it's misery!

I've thought a lot about Suh. TBH I've never been impressed with his play. I think he is one of the more overrated players in the NFL. He makes big plays from time to time, but there is something inconsistent about his play. Me not liking him has nothing to do with his mentality; I know some people on here don't want him cause they think he is a hothead or always gets in trouble. There are some "hothead" that I think are great players, that work hard, and play a well-rounded game. But, I think a lot of people misinterpret the trenches. They only see the "impact" plays that players make from time to time like a strip sack, and not the other stuff. I think he's lazy, I think he takes plays off, and is just a fundamentally inconsistent player. If we signed him I wouldn't be completely upset, but he's just not guy I'd take.

I think I'd actually prefer Hankins to him, though I'm not sure Hankins gives us what we need, so I don't think I'd sign him either. Suh to me is just not worth it.

Careful. There's people here who act like he's their long lost brother and take offense to anyone who doesn't want him on the team. Lol.

I haven’t got the impression anyone here takes offense to an opposing view of Suh. In fact I think this has been one of the better player debates in awhile.

I do think the Saints would be a better team with Suh than without him - that's all it really boils down to.

I think it's really unnecessary to try and create division between members over Suh.

I think folks are just impatient. Usually it doesn’t take this long for someone to sign, but Suh is being smart, he knows there is no other quality DTs on the market now. He is the last ‘good’ one standing and he is going to get paid for it.

It is taking him a while to sign somewhere. Kind of unusual. I think he goes to NY. Business opportunities there too I'm sure and he's some sort of business guy I guess. They're gonna offer the most any way.
