this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I'm glad the F/O didn't apparently sell the farm to get him under contract. Who knows, the Saints might still end up being the most tempting option when he is done with the visits....

Me too. Detroit and Miami regretted those enormous contracts & we would too. Saints went from a lousy 7-9 to 11-5 season with smart deals on Klein, Okafor & TG Jr. Give me a guy like Hankins at half the price & he's an above average player.
I just hope the Saints FO are done with throwing ridiculous money on one player (SUH) when you have a lot of younger guys who will have to be re signed in a couple of years. |
